China has long been famous for its tourism resources，such as famous mountains，numerous relics and historical sites，and colorful folklores．To give full play to the great potential of these resources and to feed the needs of international tourist market，we have developed a series of new products combining sightseeing and holiday making．In 1992，the State Council ratified to establish 12 State-level holiday resorts，leading to the establishment of a number of provincial-level holiday resorts．After three years of development and construction，some of the holiday resorts have been taken shape and will be put into use．After successful organization of China Landscape ＇93，China Heritage ＇94 and China Folklore ＇95，China National Tourism Administration is launch another activity entitled China Holiday Resort ＇ 96．
During the China Holiday Resort ＇96，tourist from overseas can choose as ideal place for their holiday，during which time they can participate in various activities．
