Generally speaking，rhythm lies in two aspects: thought-rhythm and sound-rhythm．It refers to the quality of happening of sounds and movements at regular periods of time in speech，dancing，music，etc．Actually，it also frequently appears in writing，especially in prose．English prose writers manage to use such a technique to show readers the aesthetic value of their writing when they portray scenery，objects and characters，because rhythm in writing，which is also an integral part of style，embodies articles imposing manner，flavor，strength，etc．A translator ought to accurately know the rhythm in the text，and properly convert it in the translated．This is the highest goal for any translator．
